Hi, my name is Cindy Brewty and I am a Brisbane Photographer. I do weddings photography, elopements photography, & family photography in Brisbane. I love creating images that tell your story.
Someone wise once said ‘ you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
My goal is to create memories through my photos. I want the photo to pull you back to that moment in time, whenever you look at it.
Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life & you will want to re-live that day through your photos, for years to come. So it’s important to make sure to get it right. My priority as a photographer is not just to capture all the important formal moments but to also capture those raw fleeting & candid moments in between. I aim to get everything from the little smiles, the tears, the stolen kisses, the laughs from speeches and even the drunken fun on the dance floor. To me it’s not just about those beautiful portraits but also, about capturing the feelings of the day.

My Style
I find it hard to define my style of photography in words because I think it is constantly evolving. But I strive for a clear and clean quality in all my images. In terms of light & colour I try to stay true to the feel of the day, because I want to capture the story as it unfolds. So, my images tend to follow the natural beauty of the day. I try to capture a good mix of posed & candid photos. So, as I document the ceremony & celebrations I capture mostly the candid, natural moments as they unfold, however, when it comes to the portraits, most people find it quite awkward & don’t know how to stand or pose. So I have made it my mission to learn how to provide direction & guidance, so that I can capture you at your good angles. For portraits, I put a lot of time into planning the shots ahead of time, to ensure that I capture the people in the photo looking their dazzling best.
Elopement Photography
With so much uncertainty around Covid & the threat of lockdowns etc, maybe a simple, intimate ceremony is the answer to your needs. An intimate ceremony & celebration can be one at the Brisbane wedding registry, your favourite outdoor location or just the backyard, with just your nearest & dearest. For this, I offer affordable elopement packages for 1 or 2 hour package. This gives you the perfect amount of time to capture some, getting ready moments, the exchange of your vows & then some time to create some beautiful portraits to commemorate the day you committed your love to each other.

Hi, I am Cindy. I am an artist & a bit of a dreamer. Before I discovered that photography was my passion, I studied Fine Art and then Interior design. I am a down to earth person & have a way of making my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. I live for capturing & documenting important moments in people’s lives. Family Photography
To me family photographs are some of the most cherished kinds of photos. When I look back on my own old family photos they take me back to some of my happiest times. They are really little time capsules on paper. They are part of my history, on paper. They are reminders of the connections I have with these other humans, some of whom are no longer here.
If you have kids, life can be so busy and suddenly in the blink of an eye your little ones will be all grown up and moved out of home. That family photo will become a cherished memory of a time, long gone. Make sure you have a quality record of those times.

What’s the point of having beautiful photos if they are going to just live on a USB stick or your computer hard drive. And what happens when the computer crashes or the USB stick from 2020 no longer works in 2030.
Printing your images brings the memory to life & creates a visual document of the family history & connections.
As part of the services I offer is providing my clients with the option of getting their images professionally printed photos. These are printed in a colour lab on quality paper that will stand the test of time. I currently offer handcrafted framed prints, folio boxes framed and albums.
